Drill and Fill

Drill and fill is a herbicide injection method used to control woody weeds, particularly larger ones with trunks or stems over 5cm in circumference. It involves drilling downward-angled holes into the sapwood, filling them with a herbicide solution, and then sealing the holes. This technique is effective because the herbicide is directly delivered to the tree’s vascular system, ensuring uptake by the plant’s roots.

Stump Treating & Cut'n'Paste

Stump treatments with herbicides are a way to kill pest plants or trees and prevent them from resprouting after felling. This method of control involves applying a systemic herbicide directly to the stump or freshly cut trunk. Common herbicides used include glyphosate and triclopyr.

Mechanical Control / Removal
